Atlantic City is undergoing a major redevelopment effort to revitalize its core and establish a more active and vibrant environment in this heavily traveled entertainment district. The Wave mixed-use parking facility anchors this redevelopment initiative, providing parking for a variety of uses in the downtown area.
The Wave activates the streetscape with ground floor retail, attractive façade design and landscaping, and colorful LED lighting including an electronic billboard. Key sustainability features include multiple EV charging stations, a roof-top solar array, and pedestrian connectivity. Our firm led both the planning and design process for this project, guiding the Casino Reinvestment Development Authority through the study and conceptual phase, managing the project through successful completion.
This notable new landmark has been honored in multiple national and regional awards competitions, earning an Award of Merit from the International Parking Institute and Innovative Facility of the Year Award from the National Parking Association.
