Air Products New HQ with a Fitness Center Breaks Ground:
On September 18, 2019, Air Products held a ground breaking ceremony for their new global headquarters in Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania. Our firm has the opportunity to work alongside L2 Partridge on the Air Products Corporate Campus by providing expertise in parking planning, design and engineering services for a 6-level, 2,000 space garage. Air Products is a world-leading industrial gases company that has been in operation for over 75 years.
The vision of the Corporate Campus is to provide Air Products with a headquarters that efficiently represents them as a world-leading company in their industry. This campus will be implementing research and development facilities that will be inclusive and collaborative for all of their employees. Air Products hoping that this new campus will allow them to exemplify their “5S” culture: safety, speed, simplicity, self-confidence and sustainability; and our firm is looking to incorporate these same attributes into the parking garage as well.
The multi-level structure will support the new Corporate Campus, providing parking as well as amenity space on the top level in the form of an outdoor track and fitness center. As for the top level, it will have a precast roof to shield vehicles from the element, support the photovoltaic array panels, and contribute to the corporate sustainability efforts of Air Products.
