Philadelphia’s 30th Street Station, the second busiest AMTRAK destination in the country, handles over 4 million patrons annually. This facility provides over 1500 convenient spaces for transit passengers, commuters, and the commercial business district, including the Cira Centre complex.
Bearing on steel H-piles straddling numerous on-grade utilities and train tunnels, the garage integrates an overhead pedestrian bridge for convenient and efficient access to the station. We guided the project team through this complicated design and construction process around and above the active rail lines. The firm provided parking consulting and superstructure engineering for the building, designing the facility for future expansion.
